Run by Elaine Reilly, a gracious, friendly and accommodating host, this Irish home is about a ten-eleven Euro cab ride from Dublin airport and on a bus route that takes you to nearby Malahide town, where you can wander the Malahide Castle grounds or continue on into the town itself, which features many pubs, restaurants and shops. The house is very homey and comfortable, and we had a spacious room with an en-suite bath and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful – a nice continental buffet with coffee and toast, juice, wonderful baked goods, cold cuts, eggs, fruit, yogurt and cereals. Elaine was good enough to call us a cab to the airport in the morning, a ride we won’t soon forget as the cabbie has made a career choice error and should be a stand up comic – we were in stitches the whole way! Highly recommended if you want to visit Malahide or do a longer term stay in the Dublin area. 79 Euro for two.

I recently stayed overnight at Seamount House with my boyfriend as we were attending a concert at the nearby Malahide Castle. Upon arrival, the host Elaine could not have been more welcoming. She kindly enabled us to arrive early in the afternoon and accommodated having the room ready so we could shower and get ready in advance of dinner that evening. The B&B is in a great location near the airport and both Swords & Malahide villages. Elaine was very helpful and as there was a shortage of taxis in the area due to the concert that evening, she dropped us down to Malahide village, which was totally unnecessary but greatly appreciated. The room was cosy & warm and the B&B is located in a quiet cul de sac area. The next morning the continental breakfast was excellent! Fresh scones, pastries, juice, yogurts and freshly brewed coffee, which was really needed it must be said! We will definitely be back!

Communication prior to our stay with the owner was prompt, accommodating and clear. Rooms were very clean as well as the restroom. Breakfast was perfect and promptly ready at our requested time. The owner was very helpful in every way. I would stay there with my family again if the opportunity came about.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Seamount House B&B after traveling to Dublin from Galway for a concert in the 3 Arena. The hostess was very friendly and went out of her way explain how we could take a direct bus to the venue. The ensuite room was very clean and cosy. After having a few drinks at the concert we were looking forward to breakfast the next morning and it didn't disappoint! Very nice family run B&B and great value for money. We will definitely stay here again.

Excellent location for Dublin Airport. Very pleasant owner who was very helpful with local information. Clean comfortable rooms that are warm. Easy access to a pub and a 24 hour petrol station close by. Highly recommended.

We spent a long weekend at Seamount House B&B and we were very satisfied. We booked a double en suite with bathroom and Elaine mentioned to us already during booking that the room is small. However we travel light and found the room suitable enough with no problems. Elaine has been a great host. Out flights to Dublin were extremely delayed and yet she was willing to wait for us until very late at night. There is nothing better then arriving into a ready warm room after a day spent at the airports and this improved our whole stay. Thank you again! Every day we agreed on the time for breakfast and Elaine would have a table and cooked breakfast ready for us. We actually enjoyed the 15 min from and to centrum of Swords and have not found it any problem. We also took a long walk to the beach at Malahide, which we recommend to visit (you can also take a bus) P.S.: Make sure you enjoy Fish&Chips in the harbour in Malahide
